  • Spearheading the modernization of a CRM serving the industrial distribution industry
  • Partnering closely with the development team to understand system architecture and technical constraints
  • Establishing a scalable, accessible design system from the ground up

Lead UI/UX Designer

  • Transforming strategy deck, site map, and copy doc into high-fidelity comps. 45 site builds as of August 2024; developed primarily in Wordpress.
  • Established a documentation system for style guides to aid front-end developers
  • Spearheaded the team transition into Figma for website designs - improving the design-dev handoff and reducing software costs by 40%. This change also collected sitemaps, design, and client presentation into one digital location
  • Championed accessibility as an integral part of the design process. Auditing existing client sites for accessibility improvements - achieving 93-98% on Lighthouse scans. Mediation included WCAG 2.1 AA contrast compliance, unique aria labels, proper alt text, and optimization of code to improve screen reader experience.
  • Presenting wireframes, design deliverables, and branding concepts to stakeholders at all business levels. Offering clear rationale for design decisions and incorporating client feedback to create practical and user-friendly design solutions.

UI/UX Specialization
CalArts via Coursera // January 2020-March 2020
Specialization of 4 courses. Final deliverables were high fidelity mockups of an app [Courses 1 &2] and delivery-only restaurant website [Course 3& 4]. Along with covering the basics of UI/UX, the assignments included full development of the project briefs, user demographics, strategy, and sitemaps. I took the specialization to add technical knowledge to the practical knowledges I've gained from various projects & web site launches I've been a part of.

Responsive Website Development and Design Specialization
University of London via Coursera // June 2019
The course covered the languages of HTML, CSS, and some basic Javascript. Projects included practical applications of those languages to create webpages from scratch. After taking this course, working with developers became a much more informed collaboration.

Autodesk Fusion 360 Integrated CAD/CAM

The course offered a detailed roadmap to Fusion 360. It provided direction on how to use many features. By choice, I further delved into creating CAM programs, parametric modeling, and rendering.
